Forage has the most amazing bow-ties! (I kind of overuse the word amazing, sorry guys.) I really love the idea of putting a bow on it when it comes to making your outfit pop. I can assure you, these down here will pop up any outfit.

For the ladies

And for the gents

Handcrafted geniousness!

Wow, I haven't blogged for a while, to say the least! I just started my summer job last week, woopydoo! I work at a preschool 2 minutes from my home, I know all the staff and the kids are so funny and inspiring! It's just been really hectic, learning everything, rules and requirements for the job an so on. But here goes, I'm blogging!

I don't know if you've heard it but Shenae Grimes is interning at Teen Vogue. I love 90210, me being a teenage soap junkie and all. I mean she is pretty awesome, fashion sense and all. But the moment I heard this I was kind of let down. She said she had gotten it through her manager's client while other girls just send in applications and are on time for job interviews. I am kind of surprised Teen Vogue would do this. I am actually really disapointed because this isn't what fashion is about. It's not about the celebrity but celebrating every individual. Anyone can make it fashion no matter what their backround.

And this only made it worse. She is interning at Teen Vogue and gets to go to the CFDA awards?

Now my lovelies, what is your side on this matter?

This photo is so refreshing, LOVING the bowl-cut!

Love Kate Foley's (of Opening Ceremony) apartment! It is so effortlessly glam and intriguing in a really un-obvious way. I love every detail they all connect so beautifully. It reminds me of the Humphrey loft.

Remember this post? I have a school project for sewing class to do a presentation about an icelandic designer. You could do whatever you want. A powerpoint show, a video, a radio show or just write it on a paper! I chose the icelandic brand KronKron. My friend is their niece so I asked her to ask them (Hugrún and Magni, the owners) if I could interview them and she asked and they were thrilled! So today I went downtown to their apartment(I am giddy with joy that they didn't want to meet me in the store whereas I have been there way to often and I always like to see the haven a genius. See: The Coveteur.) They live in the heart of the city and I travelled by bus with my friend Hulda who is doing the project with me. The staircase up to their apartment was FILLED* with shoes. They were so welcoming and relaxed even though their apartment was cluttered. We sat down and asked them our questions and they were so happy and gave us the best answers! My other frien Auður, the niece, filmed it and we're going to show the class on Thursday. I am going to share with you the video when we finish editing it but till then enjoy their gorgeuos* staircase!

Love Always!
*Filled seems tiny in comparison of the real deal.
*Gorgeuos just isn't the right word.

Ooh I've got a new favorite fashion-related site!! Style Sightings It puts together amazing photos and there is always some resemblance (apart from being all equally amazingly fabulous!!). It's a street style meet mood board. Check it out, I swear you guys will love it!

 Love Always,

P.S. I love the toe-shoes in the last one!

For me this is really close to perfection. The hair, the jacket, the perfectly stacked bracelets. Her smile, her hint of freckles and the rope around her neck.

Love Always!

Oh what a beautiful week it has been! The Met Gala and the Royal Wedding!! Did you watch? I had school so I watched it online but got bored so I fast-forwarded to the kiss and the vows. It was beyond romantic, what did you think? This week has been crazy so much to do in every aspect of my life. Good inspiration from fellow bloggers has really brought a little piece of sunshine into each day that passes by.

Nicole Richie's golden old Hollywood inspired hair with a bold pout at the Met Gala.
