What are you lovely readers doing this weekend? I was at a birthday party yesterday and am going to see a movie tonight. I am in such a good mood because I have promised myself some new shoes!! I am going to buy them online, the lack of decent stores with decent prices in Iceland kind of chose that option for me. I can't decide.. what do you think?

These are from Bianco. They are a look-a-like of the Acne Pistol boots which I adore!

I love these sandal wedges from Urban Outfitters and I can really see myself wearing them with alot! I can't decide on which color though.

And these suede wedges are from Urban Outfitters and are selling for only 14.99!
Love Always and tell me what you think!

Edit(!!!!!): I had to have the photos this small because otherwise they are so blurry and I just couldn't by any chance find larger photos.

Do any of you do yoga? I've always been super interested in it. I love how people are so toned and strong when they do it regularly. Do you prefer some specific type of yoga? I've tried hot yoga and I loved it! The outfits are also really cute..

Have you ever thought about going bald? I have, I'd love it! My mom got cancer 2 years ago and she had chemotherapy and lost all her hair (except her eyelashes and eyebrows). She didn't like it but it eventually led to her rocking a short do something she thought she'd never do. I would love when I am older to go travelling with friends or family to a far away land, preferably something wild like India or Africa and shave my head bald. I just think it would be so liberating to wake up in the morning and walk out the door without needing to do ANYTHING to it. Come to think of it alot of models and actresses have rocked the bald head. Demi Moore, Solange Knowles, Natalie Portman, Alec Wek, Eva Salvail, Amber Rose, Agyness Deyn and many many more.

 The beautiful model Alec Wek.

Amber Rose and her hubby Kanye West. (Are they still together, I don't know and frankly I don't care. Honestly why are people so obsessed about celebrities? I mean everything in those tabloids is twisted or just a plain lie. Either way you'll never know if it's true and why waste your time on that?!)

A beautiful model, Eva Salvail. You've probably never heard of her. If so she was modeling in the '90s.

Agyness Deyn. (This is the original size of the photo. I wanted it bigger but I didn't want to have it blurry so I decided to leave it like this.)

Natalie Portman, the single most beautiful lady that has sported a shaved head. Her bold cheekbones and fierce jaw play a big part in that.

So what I want to know is would you do this?

Love Always

There is a really interesting piece on this from fashionista right here. Weird but yesterday was exactly a year since this piece was written, coincidence? I don't think so!

Yay! I changed my header into an original. I liked the old one alot but a trusty reader advised me on the header that I should make it more original and fun, and so that's what I did! (Thanks Kat) I recycled an old issue of Teen Vogue and cut into letters. So what do you guys think?

For those of you who haven't noticed, I'm icelandic. My parents are both 100% icelandic and apart from me being born in San Francisco I am too. I moved here when I was 9 and I have loved it ever since. The one thing I truly appreciated about Iceland is how the design and produce of 100% icelandic stuff is growing more and more every day. I also love how versatile the products are. In a community this small design hasn't come as far along as for instance in the states. Alot of new brands are popping up and it is so exciting seeing what Icelandic designers will come up with in the future!

This* is one of my favorite products. It's called Villimey and is manufactured in Tálknafjörður, a place in the country very far away from Reykjavík the capital. It's products are 100% natural and made from wildly grown Icelandic herbs. It's amazing! The product are for all kinds of purposes. They have a lip balm that soothes the lips but at the same time treats the dryness, a lotion for a pregnant mother to put on her belly to prevent stretch marks, a lotion for soreness in muscles that eases away the pain and many more. Believe me when I say these work! If you know anyone who is visiting Iceland or your coming yourself this is a must-buy.

Honestly, look at this photo and tell me if you wouldn't think it works! This product is an all natural, free from any kinds of chemicals to ensure a good smell, color or make it last longer. Oh and the smell is heavenly. You just know you are using a good product.

Aðalbjörg Þorsteinsdóttir the founder.

Love Always, and if you are visiting Iceland please let me know!

*The website is available in both Icelandic and English. If you understand Icelandic-great! It's such a magical thing these products so just enjoy!

I just bought a scarf from the Icelandic designers Vík Prjónsdóttir. It's called Verndarhendur or Healing hands. I love, love, love it! It's made out of wool and is super long so you can wrap it around your neck loads of times!

Their products are so happiness inducing! I loved bundling up in my mustard yellow Helping Hand.

Love Always
Thanks so much for your amazing comments on my last post! I love you guys!

Okay hi. This might very well be the most awkward post I have ever written. I just want to say that I really, really cherish and appreciate everyone who takes time to read my blog. I know there are a few and I'd like to make it bigger. So if you, dear readers, coul be so amazing and leave a comment, a thought on what I wrote about, say something you like about my blog (if you like sth.) and so on and so on. It would mean the world to me. I am just starting out at this stuff and I have gotten alot of emails about how my blog should be bigger and I should make it big. And the only way I know how to is through you dear readers. If you comment I comment back. If you follow I'll follow you too. I like to think that I know there are a few out there in the same situation as I am in and I just think we should help eachother.

Love Always
P.S. That was possibly the cheesiest thing I have ever written but it is so true! If your willing to read my blog I am willing to read yours but I don't know who you are unless you leave a comment!

P.P.S. Keep reading, I love you guys.

I think and hope to God this is true. I love, love, love to laugh! I mean who doesn't.

Love this, so romantic. I love old couples hahah.

All from vi.sualize.us. The best website to find amazingly cute photos. I am a sucker for these kind of photos, typography at it's best.

Yeyyyyyyyy! For all of you who live in Iceland this is an offer you can not pass up! It is the Art College of Iceland's fashion show. Everyone who is graduating from fashion design has completed a collection of clothes and they will be showcased tonight! I went last year and it was super fun and the creativity and inspiration in the outfits were limitless.
These pothole gardens are so amazing I just had to share!

Love Always.

Oh how I love Alexa Chung! The thing I love the most is her hair. It's short and so cool and it looks really low maintenance. I feel like I achieved my best version of it the last time I had a haircut, but I still don't have the ombre feel.

Love Always
Hi, what do you guys think about the OPI shatter polishes? My opinion, honestly I hate them. I don't get what is so great and pretty about them. I just think they look horrible and sloppy.

Okay, these are the colors that are available and this is what the bottle looks like.

And this (if you've been living under a rock) is the effect the polish gives. You put it normally over another color and it 'parts'.

I am though loving what OPI is doing this year. They have the Texas collection, the Pirates of the Carribean collection and this one which is called the Grand Slam: Paris in honor of the tennis superstar Serena Williams. Like I said before I despise the shatters but the two in the middle are kind of yummy especially the one on the right.

The oh so beautiful Texas collection. Brigt, whispy colors. I like best all the deep pinks and orangey-reds.

And last the Pirates of the Carribean collection. I love love love these ones. Pastels in jewel tones. But I can't pick a favorite it's more of a collection that looks good all together rather than just one part of it.

Love Always and keep reading and follow me on Bloglovin!

Don't you just love the idea of having one pair of amazingly comfortable yet extremely eye candy-ish boots and being able to slide in 'em in socks and everything. Um, I do. I love the ones Anabel has from Blushing Ambition. They are Rachel Comey ones and are sold out everywhere!

The fact that she wears them with NEARLY everything says enough for me-I've got to have them!

How gorgeous are these shoes?!!

And if you are interested in Rachel Comey and her sold out shoes. Here is her site on Solestruck.

Love Always!

Photos are taken from the wonderful site blushing ambition.

Edit: I know the photos are behind the text in about me, followes and blog archive but I don't care. The photos are much more beautiful this big. Therefore I am going to leave them that big and if it's bothering you just visit her lovely blog yourself. Love you guys!

Edit (again): I changed the template settings so nobody should be bothered!
